What are antacids?

An antacid is a substance which neutralizes stomach acidity and is used
to relieve heartburn, acid reflux or indigestion. Majority of antacids contain
salts of aluminum, calcium, magnesium, or sodium.

How antacids work?

Antacids contain alkaline ions that chemically neutralize gastric acid,
reducing damage to the stomach lining and esophagus thus relieving stomach
discomfort.

Which foods can cause acidity in the stomach?

Certain foods can lead to acidity and discomfort in the stomach,
including fried and oily food, citrus fruits (such as oranges and tomatoes),
onions, spicy foods and fatty meat etc.  Avoid lying down immediately after meals.

How to use it?

Children
and adults (men and women) can take it according to the recommended directions.

For Adults & Children (12 years &
older):1 tablespoon (15mL) as needed after meal at bedtime or as directed by a
physician.

For Children (under 12 years) consult a
physician before use.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Do not use this product for more than 2 weeks.

Can this product be taken with other medications?

Nutraceutical products are safe to use but consult a healthcare
professional before use with other medications. Do not take within 2
hours of taking another prescribed medicine as the effectiveness of the other
medicine may get altered.

Is there any side effect of Nutrifactor’s Ventacid
Syrup?

No side effects have been reported yet from using Nutrifactor’s Ventacid Syrup.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Is this product gluten-free?

Yes, it is wheat and gluten-free.
